Hey there everyone. Sorry for the lack of posting lately. We started back to homeschooling. While things have been going great, it has also been a time of organization and figuring out the best way to properly document our progress.
I have mentioned before that in Maryland you have the option to submit your progress to the county. However, since that would bring me a lot of stress and anxiety we started our journey under an Umbrella homeschool program. If your not sure what this is and want to know more let me know in the comments and I can give you more information.
Ok back to our journey. Every year I seem to switch up what we are doing. I see other moms’ and how they do things, what they use. Sometimes I am inspired and sometimes I am overwhelmed. This year we are doing half teaching with mom and half classes online. I have also found this book my son (who hates to write) has loved since we started. We are also part of a homeschooling coop that helps teach things in addition to what we are doing at home. I really enjoy coop because I also get to teach my passion which is sewing class. This year I have 16 students!! I just love that people want to learn something that I really enjoy doing myself.
These are the things we have been up to. I was very surprised when we arrived home from our three-week camping trip to find that my husband had done a huge amount of remodeling in our home camper. The changes he made are amazing and I am hoping he will take the time to write down a few changes he made that are such a useful improvement to our space.
